The BastardAnother Osama Bin Laden tape now suggests that the crippled Al Qaeda network is encouraging lone jihadists that are unaffiliated to do his evil work and murder and kidnap more Americans.  In fact, he even warned America that if the Obama administration executes the man who masterminded the 9/11 attack, Khalid Sheik Mohammed, in any American hostages in their hands will be slaughtered!  Most westerners already assume that that is what will happen to American hostages in their hands anyway. An audio tape, purportedly by the al-Qaida leader, was broadcast on the al-Jazeera news channel March 25th.

“The day America will take such decision [to execute Mohammed and any others], it would have taken a decision to execute whoever we capture,” Bin Laden said in a brief clip aired on Al Jazeera.

The news-junkie terrorist knows KSM will likely be executed anyway – and that the thug he called a “hero-warrior” actually begged for death and martyrdom in a U.S. military court in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, two years ago.

A US counterterrorism official dismissed the sentiments expressed in the 74-second tape as “the height of absurdity” on March 25th.  “It is bizarre,” said one U.S. counter-terror official. “KSM himself may disagree.”

The fugitive Al Qaeda leader’s intended audience is most likely those in the Arab world influenced by him and who can act independently against Americans.  Most of his recent tapes have been released directly on the Web.

Though addressing America in the latest, the tape was given to the biggest TV network in the Middle East.  CIA Director Leon Panetta has said Al Qaeda leaders in Pakistan are too threatened by a drone blitz to plot 9/11-type strikes.

Intelligence officials on March 25 didn’t discount that Bin Laden may be trying to incite more “lone wolf” attacks, given the attention paid to loners such as alleged Fort Hood killer Army Maj. Nidal Hasan and Nigerian underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.

The country is understood to be seeking the death penalty against Mohammed and four other men accused of planning the 9/11 attacks. President Barack Obama announced in November last year that the five would be tried in a civilian court in New York.

The speaker in the tape criticized Obama for “following the footsteps of his predecessor”.

“The politicians in the White House were practicing injustice against us and still they are, especially by supporting Israel in its continuous occupation of Palestine.”

The recording continued: “They used to think that America across the oceans is protected from the rage of the oppressed until our reaction was loudly heard at your home on the 9/11, with God’s help.”

The official, who wished to remain anonymous, responded to al-Qaida’s threat to execute detained Americans by drawing attention to the organization’s previous treatment of captives.

“It’s the height of absurdity for anyone associated with al-Qaida to even suggest that now, at long last, they’re going to start treating captives badly,” the official told Reuters.  “They may have forgotten Danny Pearl and all the others they’ve slaughtered, but we haven’t.”

Pearl, a Wall Street Journal reporter, was kidnapped and held hostage in Pakistan in 2002. His kidnappers made demands for the release of al-Qaida prisoners before setting a deadline for his killing.  After Pearl had been held for a month, the US state department received a videotape showing the journalist being murdered.

The US president has already faced criticism over the treatment of Mohammed, although so far it has come from closer to home. His decision to put the alleged 9/11 organizer on trial in central New York has seen the president come under pressure, with Republicans saying al-Qaida will use the trial for propaganda.

Others have criticized the security threat represented by holding the trial in New York, while the debate continues over whether the suspects could be guaranteed a fair trial in a civilian court.

Legal experts predicted the suspects would plead guilty in order to win execution and martyrdom.

In January, the last tape received, supposedly from Bin Laden, the Al Qaeda leader claimed responsibility for the attempted bombing of a plane over Detroit on Christmas Day

My Take: In my opinion, there is no place in the United States that that scumbag responsible for planning 9/11 or any of his accomplices could get a fair trial.  That bastard is going to need his own private Fair Oaks CA armed security guard to stay alive during the trial because I have a feeling somebody will try to killing him.  That is if he can even get Sacramento security guard services to giving one.   I do not believe that anyone in this country would help him if he was joking on the street.

Because of 9/11 we have had to increase our air cargo security and put in more walk through metal detectors in our airports.  This in turn, has caused the cost of air flight to increase.  Metal detector equipment is not cheap and air cargo safety is a must for business economics.  The 9/11 incident has caused so many problems from this country not to mention the number of lives have been lost since that day.
